Disclosure: this page contains exchange invitation links and codes. If you sign up through them, the exchange may pay Jason Finance a referral commission. It does not raise the fees you pay; the invitation fee rebate is set by the exchange. Our ratings follow the published methodology, where the invitation rebate counts only toward the fees item.

What you pay on XT.COM depends on three things: whether you trade spot or futures, whether your order is a maker or a taker, and whether you pay fees with the XT platform token. This article collects the numbers from XT.COM’s official fee page, VIP announcement and help center, then works out what a 1,000 USDT trade actually costs.

The short version: on 22 October 2026, regular XT.COM users (VIP 0) paid 0.2% as maker and as taker on spot, or 0.15% with the 25% discount for paying in XT, and 0.02% maker and 0.06% taker on USDT perpetual futures. The 0.2% spot rate is twice the 0.1% charged by most large international exchanges, but the VIP 1 bar is low: 20,000 USDT of 30-day spot volume is enough. Deposits are free, USDT withdrawal fees range from 0.01 to 4 USDT, and the minimum withdrawal is 10 USDT. Signing up with this site’s invitation code gives you a fee rebate of 60% on futures and 35% on spot, so the fee on a 1,000 USDT spot purchase drops from 2 USDT to 1.3 USDT.

This article is an information summary, not investment advice. All rates were taken from XT.COM’s official pages and official API on 22 October 2026. Rates and rules change, so check XT.COM’s current pages before you trade. I have an XT.COM account; screenshots of my account’s fee rate and fee rebate records will be added later. This site does not give advice on futures or leveraged trading; futures rates are listed only so readers can compare costs.

XT.COM fees: 0.2% spot and 0.02%/0.06% futures for regular users

According to XT.COM’s official fee page (22 October 2026), regular users pay:

Market Maker Taker
Spot 0.20% 0.20%
Spot (paying with XT) 0.15% 0.15%
USDT perpetual futures 0.02% 0.06%

Fee = trade value × fee rate

  • A maker order does not fill right away and waits in the order book for someone else to fill it; a taker order fills immediately against existing orders, as a market order does. XT.COM’s maker and taker guide (in Chinese) says a buy below the best ask or a sell above the best bid is a maker order, and an order that crosses and fills at once is a taker order. A limit order can also fill immediately and pay the taker rate; see a limit order is not always a maker order.
  • At VIP 0, spot maker and taker are the same. The same guide says that on spot, maker or taker, every filled trade is charged a 0.2% fee.
  • Futures fees are charged when you open and when you close. XT.COM’s futures fee structure (updated 10 October 2026) gives the fee as number of contracts × contract face value × average fill price × fee rate, paid in USDT on USDT-margined contracts.

To compare regular-user rates with other international exchanges, see the international exchange fee comparison.

XT.COM VIP tiers: requirements and rates

XT.COM’s VIP tiers run from VIP 0 to VIP 7, and the top tier is called Premium VIP. According to the official fee page on 22 October 2026, meeting any one of these is enough to move up:

Tier Assets (current or 30-day average) 30-day spot volume 30-day futures volume
VIP 0 Under 30,000 USDT Under 20,000 USDT Under 200,000 USDT
VIP 1 30,000 USDT 20,000 USDT 200,000 USDT
VIP 2 50,000 USDT 100,000 USDT 1,000,000 USDT
VIP 3 100,000 USDT 250,000 USDT 8,000,000 USDT
VIP 4 200,000 USDT 500,000 USDT 15,000,000 USDT
VIP 5 500,000 USDT 1,000,000 USDT 35,000,000 USDT
VIP 6 1,000,000 USDT 5,000,000 USDT 85,000,000 USDT
VIP 7 2,000,000 USDT 10,000,000 USDT 150,000,000 USDT
Premium VIP 5,000,000 USDT 30,000,000 USDT 300,000,000 USDT

Rates by tier:

Tier Spot maker/taker Spot paying with XT Futures maker Futures taker
VIP 0 0.20% 0.15% 0.020% 0.060%
VIP 1 0.16% 0.12% 0.018% 0.054%
VIP 2 0.15% 0.1125% 0.015% 0.046%
VIP 3 0.12% 0.09% 0.013% 0.041%
VIP 4 0.10% 0.075% 0.012% 0.037%
VIP 5 0.07% 0.0525% 0.010% 0.035%
VIP 6 0.06% 0.045% 0.008% 0.033%
VIP 7 0.04% 0.03% 0.006% 0.030%
Premium VIP 0.02% 0.015% 0.004% 0.028%
  • Spot maker and taker share one rate at every tier, so a maker order is never cheaper on spot; only on futures is the maker rate lower than the taker rate.
  • The fee page’s spot table uses spot volume and its futures table uses futures volume; the asset thresholds are the same in both.
  • The fee page and the announcement disagree on Premium VIP volume. The March 2026 VIP fee announcement gives 15,000,000 USDT of 30-day spot volume and 215,000,000 USDT of futures volume, while the fee page data on 22 October showed 30,000,000 USDT and 300,000,000 USDT. This article uses the fee page figures from that day; VIP 0 to VIP 7 match in both.
  • The rate that actually applies to you is the one shown on the fee page and trading page after you log in.

How VIP tiers are calculated and when they update

According to the VIP fee announcement (effective 5 March 2026):

  • Tiers are updated every day at 11:00 (UTC+8) based on assets or volume, and the new rate applies immediately. The fee page gives the same time.
  • 30-day average assets: for accounts at least 30 days old, the sum of daily assets over the last 30 days ÷ 30; for younger accounts, divided by the number of days since registration. Unrealized profit and loss is not counted.
  • XT platform tokens you hold count 1.4 to 2 times their value in the asset calculation, with higher multipliers at higher tiers.
  • Main and sub-accounts are combined for volume and assets and share one tier and fee rate.
  • The first time you reach VIP 1 or above, you get a 30-day protection period during which you are not downgraded even if your assets or volume drop below the threshold; after that, your tier is reassessed daily on actual data.

The VIP 1 bar is much lower than at OKX or Bybit: 20,000 USDT of 30-day spot volume, or 30,000 USDT in assets.

Paying fees with the XT token: 25% off spot

XT is XT.COM’s platform token. The spot table on the official fee page has an “XT 25% Discount” column, and the VIP fee announcement lists spot rates “25% OFF on XT”. Paying spot fees with XT takes 25% off: VIP 0 goes from 0.2% to 0.15%, and VIP 1 from 0.16% to 0.12%.

  • Futures get no such discount: neither the fee page’s futures table nor the announcement’s futures rates have an XT column.
  • I found no official explanation of which account the XT must be in, what price is used to convert it, or what happens when you do not hold enough XT; I will confirm the actual deduction with screenshots from my account later.
  • XT’s other use is being counted at 1.4 to 2 times its value toward VIP assets (see the previous section).

If you are thinking of buying XT to pay fees or reach a VIP tier, do the maths first: the fees you save need to outweigh what you could lose if the XT price falls. The method is in are platform token fee discounts worth it.

USDT deposit and withdrawal fees

Deposits are free: the official API lists a USDT deposit fee rate of 0 on every network. Each withdrawal costs a fixed amount regardless of size; according to XT.COM’s withdrawal fee announcement, withdrawal fees adjust dynamically with coin prices and network conditions.

USDT data from XT.COM’s official supported currency API on 22 October 2026:

Network Withdrawal fee Minimum withdrawal Minimum deposit
Aptos 0.01 USDT 10 USDT Not stated
Polygon PoS 0.02 USDT 10 USDT 0.1 USDT
BNB Smart Chain (BEP20) 0.5 USDT 10 USDT 0.1 USDT
Tron (TRC20) 1 USDT 10 USDT 0.1 USDT
Solana 1 USDT 10 USDT 0.001 USDT
The Open Network (TON) 1 USDT 10 USDT Not stated
Optimism 1 USDT 10 USDT Not stated
Avalanche C-Chain 1 USDT 10 USDT Not stated
Arbitrum One 2 USDT 10 USDT Not stated
XT Smart Chain 2 USDT 10 USDT 0.1 USDT
Ethereum (ERC20) 4 USDT 10 USDT 0.1 USDT
  • This is a snapshot from that day and matches the figures checked on 9 October for the XT.COM review. The withdrawal page shows the actual fee; a screenshot of it will be added later.
  • XT Smart Chain is XT.COM’s own chain. Most other exchanges and wallets do not support it, and choosing it by mistake could mean losing the funds.
  • The receiving side must support the same network. For how to choose, see how to choose a USDT withdrawal network.
  • I found no fee information for a Convert feature on XT.COM’s website or help center, so this article does not list one.

What a 1,000 USDT trade costs

Take a regular user (VIP 0) trading 1,000 USDT. The invitation code fee rebate lowers the fees you yourself pay; this uses the rates for this site’s XT.COM invitation code: 60% on futures and 35% on spot.

Effective rate after the rebate = official rate × (1 − fee rebate rate)

Case Official rate Fee Rate after fee rebate Fee after rebate
Spot taker (market buy of 1,000 USDT of BTC) 0.20% 2 USDT 0.13% 1.3 USDT
Spot maker (limit order filled from the book) 0.20% 2 USDT 0.13% 1.3 USDT
Futures taker (1,000 USDT position value) 0.06% 0.6 USDT 0.024% 0.24 USDT
Futures maker (1,000 USDT position value) 0.02% 0.2 USDT 0.008% 0.08 USDT
  • At VIP 0, spot maker and taker are both 0.2%, so both come to 1.3 USDT after the rebate. Paying with XT alone, without the invitation code rebate, the rate is 0.15%, or 1.5 USDT.
  • Futures fees are charged once to open and once to close, so a round trip costs twice the figure in the table.
  • Fees scale with trade value, so the gap grows with volume. On 10,000 USDT of spot trades a month, the official rate costs 20 USDT a month and 13 USDT after the rebate.
  • This covers fees only. Large market orders also face slippage, and futures carry funding rates; neither is in the table.

The invitation code fee rebate

Signing up for XT.COM with an invitation code gives you XT.COM’s official fee rebate; the rates are in the invitation box below, and this site syncs the data daily.

XT.COM’s referral FAQ says that the fees you save on spot and futures after signing up with an invitation code are credited to your spot account, where you can check them under Spot Account → Fund History → Distribution. I found no official statement on when this amount is credited, and no rules on how it combines with VIP rates or paying with XT; I will confirm this with screenshots from my account later. For other exchanges’ rebate rates and how they are calculated, see what is a crypto exchange fee rebate.

Fees are only part of the picture. XT.COM has no licence that I could find, the UK FCA and Dubai’s VARA have issued warnings about it, and Quebec and Ontario in Canada have permanently banned it from operating, so read the XT.COM review before you sign up.

According to XT.COM, the fee is the number of contracts × contract face value × average fill price × fee rate, charged once to open and once to close. Regular users pay 0.02% maker and 0.06% taker, so opening a 1,000 USDT position as a taker costs 0.6 USDT.
