Binance Invitation Code (Referral Code) 2026: Fee Rebate Up to 20%, So Where Do 40% and 50% Come From? How to Check Before You Sign Up, and How to Add One After Signing Up
Disclosure: this page contains exchange invitation links and codes. If you sign up through them, the exchange may pay Jason Finance a referral commission. It does not raise the fees you pay; the invitation fee rebate is set by the exchange. Our ratings follow the published methodology, where the invitation rebate counts only toward the fees item.

The short answer
Binance's official cap on the invitation code fee rebate is 20% on spot, margin and futures, set by the inviter, so a Binance invitation code may give 20%, 10%, 5% or 0%. Of codes online claiming 40% or 50%, none exceeded 20% in Binance's system; of 18 claiming 20%, 8 were lower. Open accounts.binance.com/register?ref= plus the code and check whether the left side says "UP TO X% TRADE REBATES".
Suits
- People who haven't signed up for Binance yet and want to check whether an invitation code comes with a fee rebate
- People who already have a Binance account, didn't enter an invitation code at sign-up, and want to know whether they can still add one
- People who want to know what they need for Binance sign-up and identity verification
Doesn't suit
- Binance accounts that already have an inviter: the referral relationship cannot be changed or removed
- People living in Hong Kong, the UK, Singapore, the US or the European Economic Area: this site's invitation code does not apply, and Hong Kong residents and accounts registered in the EEA get no rebates either
- People who only want the new-user rewards: the rewards require completing deposit and trading tasks, and the top tier requires US$50 million in trading within 30 days
What would change this verdict
- Binance changes the invitee's 20% cap or the Referral Pro rules
- Binance redesigns its sign-up page and it no longer shows the rate
- The fee rebate rate on this site's invitation code changes (the invitation box is synced daily)
Under Binance’s official rules, the fee rebate you can get with a Binance invitation code is capped at 20% on spot, margin and futures: Binance’s “Binance Affiliate Program Starter Guide” (updated 4 November 2026) says affiliates can set “a trading fee rebate of up to 20%” for invitees “for Spot, Margin, and Futures trading”, and the inviter sets the rate when creating the invitation link. So with headlines like “Binance invitation code 40%” or “50%”, the part above 20% cannot come from Binance.
On 1 November 2026 I searched for terms such as “幣安邀請碼” (Binance invitation code), “币安邀请码 返佣” and “Binance referral code”, collected 58 invitation codes from 54 pages, and looked up each code’s rate in Binance’s official system. Of the 26 that claimed more than 20%, none actually exceeded 20%, and 5 had no fee rebate at all; of the 18 that claimed 20%, 8 were actually lower, 5 of them at 0%. This article covers Binance’s official rules, what my check found, how to verify a code yourself before signing up, the steps for sign-up and identity verification, and how people who have already signed up can still add an invitation code.
This article is a summary of information, not investment advice. The rules come from Binance’s help center and the FAQs and terms for its Referral Pro mode and Affiliate Program, and the check results are what Binance’s official system and sign-up page showed on 1 November 2026. Binance changes its rules and pages, so go by the page as it is when you sign up. This site does not name other websites, and does not give advice on futures or leveraged trading.
Before you sign up: on 29 October 2026, about US$6.3 billion was stolen from Binance’s hot wallets. Withdrawals have been resuming in stages since 1 November, and some coins still can’t be withdrawn. For what happened and how Binance’s compensation is going, see “Binance hack”.
What a Binance invitation code gets you: up to 20%, set by the inviter
Binance’s fee rebate rate is set by the inviter, up to 20%. Under Binance’s “Frequently Asked Questions on Binance Referral Pro Mode” (updated 5 August 2026), if the inviter sets it to 0%, you get no rebate.
| Item | Binance’s rule | Official source |
|---|---|---|
| The invitee’s rate | Up to a 20% rebate on spot, margin and futures fees, set by the inviter | Binance Affiliate Program Starter Guide (updated 4 November 2026) |
| Who sets the rate | The inviter sets the spot and futures split separately for each invitation link they create; a link’s split can’t be changed once it is created | Referral Pro Mode FAQ |
| How it is paid | Calculated hourly, converted to USDC and deposited into the spot account within 6 hours; the rebate on futures trades goes back to the futures account | Referral Pro Mode FAQ (since 13 February 2025); the futures part is from my own account records |
| Can you switch inviters | No: “once the referral relationship has been established, it cannot be changed or removed” | Referral Pro Mode FAQ, question 6 |
This site’s Binance invitation code gives 20%, the same for futures and spot; the rate comes from the data synced daily to the invitation box below. How Binance calculates fees, and the discount for paying fees in BNB, are covered in the fees section of the “Binance review”.
Binance invitation codes advertised at 40% or 50%: I checked them
Binance has a public lookup endpoint: enter an invitation code and it returns that code’s maximum rebate rate, which is where the rate on the left side of Binance’s sign-up page comes from. On 1 November 2026 I searched 7 sets of keywords, collected 54 pages that listed a Binance invitation code (in Traditional Chinese, Simplified Chinese and English), 58 codes in all, and looked up each one:
| What the page claimed | Codes | Actual rate in Binance’s system |
|---|---|---|
| More than 20% (40%, 45%, 50%, “highest anywhere: 55%”) | 26 | 20%: 20; 0%: 5; code not found: 1 |
| 20% | 18 | 20%: 10; 10%: 1; 5%: 2; 0%: 5 |
| Below 20% (5%, 10%) | 4 | 10%: 2; 0%: 2 |
| No rate given | 10 | 20%: 3; 0%: 7 |
A few patterns:
- Not one rate above 20% exists in Binance’s system. The code advertised as “highest anywhere: 55%” actually had 0%, and one advertised as “lifetime 40%” also had 0%.
- A code advertised at 20% isn’t necessarily 20% either: 8 of the 18 were lower, and two advertised as “permanent 20%” and “save 20%” actually had only 5%.
- Most 40% and 45% figures are stacked calculations: take a 20% invitation code and add the 25% discount for paying fees in BNB (spot fees drop from 0.1% to 0.075%); take another 20% off 0.075% and you get 0.06%, which is 40% less than 0.1%. But Binance gives the BNB discount to all users, with or without an invitation code. And the invitee’s rebate is calculated on the fees actually paid, so I couldn’t check each page’s calculation one by one.
- Only 1 page said outright that the part above 20% is paid by the website itself (“refunded manually” for people who trade a lot, paid weekly). It had no public payout terms, and its only contact was a community group chat.
- Only 1 page included a recent screenshot of Binance’s sign-up page (and the rate it showed matched the system); another page’s screenshot was from 2022. The other pages had only illustrations or text.
- “Lifetime”, “permanent” and “highest anywhere” are common, including on pages whose codes actually had 0% or 5%. Binance’s rules give no “lifetime” guarantee (see the next section).
- One page offered an Android installation file from a third-party domain, not Binance’s official download location.
Pay particular attention to the left side of the second comparison image at the top of this article: “19,800 USD” is the cap on new-user task rewards, not a fee rebate. An inviter can set the rebate to 0% and the page still shows this big number. According to Binance’s “Affiliate-Boosted Welcome Bonus” campaign page, this reward has 7 task tiers, is unlocked only if you complete identity verification within 30 days of signing up, and is paid out as vouchers:
| Task tier | Net deposit | Trading volume | Time limit | Reward cap |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Tier 1 | US$100 or more | US$3,000 or more in spot | 7 days | US$100 |
| Tier 4 | US$2,000 or more | US$500,000 or more in spot or futures | 14 days | US$1,000 |
| Tier 7 | US$20,000 or more | US$50 million or more in spot or futures | 30 days | US$10,000 |
At Binance’s regular-user rates, Tier 1’s US$3,000 of spot trading costs about US$3 in fees; Tier 7’s US$50 million, even if it is all futures at the 0.05% taker rate, costs about US$25,000 in fees. 19,800 is the cap for completing all 7 tiers; a typical user is more likely to reach the first few. The campaign page also says actual tasks and rewards vary by user, and that what the Reward Hub shows is what counts.
My view: many pages give only a number, with no screenshot and no payout rules, and after you sign up, the promised number may never materialize. The method in the next section lets you check these numbers one by one before you sign up.

Check a Binance invitation code yourself before signing up: three checks
Check 1: open Binance’s official sign-up page and read the left side
In your browser, enter https://accounts.binance.com/en/register?ref= followed by the invitation code. For example, open my invitation link and you will see Binance’s official sign-up page saying “UP TO 20% TRADE REBATES”. First make sure the address is binance.com, then read the text on the left:
- If it says “UP TO 20% TRADE REBATES” (or another rate, such as 10% or 5%): the code comes with a fee rebate, at the rate shown on the page.
- If it only says “Up to 100 USD Sign Up Rewards” or “Up to 19,800 USD Sign Up Rewards”: the code has no fee rebate, only new-user tasks.
This is how the page looked when I checked on 1 November 2026. Binance has not officially explained it, and it may differ by region or after a redesign. “Rebates” is the word Binance’s interface uses, and it simply means fees refunded to you.
Check 2: who pays the part above 20%, and how
Under Binance’s rules, the invitee’s rebate is capped at 20%. If a page advertises a higher number, the extra can only be something the website itself promises to pay separately, and it has nothing to do with Binance. Binance’s “Binance Referral Program Terms” (effective 5 January 2026) also say that the amount of rebates is at Binance’s sole discretion.
So when you see a rate above 20%, get clear answers to the following. If they can’t answer, assume there is nothing:
- Who pays: a company name or a responsible person, not a nickname.
- How it is calculated and when it is paid: on what basis, whether daily, weekly or monthly, and where it is paid to.
- Minimums and conditions: the minimum payout, whether you must complete identity verification or deposit first, and any trading volume requirement.
- Written rules: whether there is a public terms page, rather than “message the site owner”.
- Evidence: a recent screenshot of Binance’s sign-up page showing the rate, or records of actual payouts.
Check 3: Binance does not guarantee “lifetime” or “permanent”
In the “Frequently Asked Questions on Binance Referral Pro Mode” and “Binance Referral Program - Additional Notes” (updated 22 September 2026), Binance’s official policy sets out several cases in which rebates stop or are not generated:
- Spot: under Binance’s rules, once the invitee reaches VIP 3 or higher, spot rebates stop.
- Futures: under Binance’s rules, futures rebates have a 1-year validity period, after which “you will stop receiving Futures rebates” (except in the cases Binance’s rules provide for).
- Region: under Binance’s rules, if the invitee is a Hong Kong resident, no rebates are generated; from 1 July 2026, users registered in the European Economic Area can’t take part in the referral program in any capacity; referral rewards for UK users have also been removed.
- Closing and re-registering: under Binance’s rules, if you close your old account and open a new one with a different referral relationship using the same identity details, the system identifies a duplicate identity, and the user can’t receive any rebates.
Read the other way: for spot, as long as you don’t reach VIP 3 and your account’s region is eligible, the rebate continues; for futures, Binance’s rules give it a 1-year term.
Signing up for Binance with an invitation code: steps
The steps follow Binance’s “How to Register on the Binance Website?” (updated 24 November 2025). The invitation code is not on the first page; it comes at the last step, after you set your password:
- Open the invitation link, or go to Binance’s official website, enter your email or phone number and click “Sign Up”. You can also sign up with an Apple, Google or Telegram account.
- Read the Terms of Service and Privacy Policy, tick the box to agree, and click “Next”.
- Within 30 minutes, enter the 6-digit verification code sent to your email or by text message.
- Set a password: at least 8 characters, including at least one uppercase letter and one number.
- In the last step, confirm the referral code: if you sign up through an invitation link, it is filled in automatically, with a green tick and “Linked” next to it. Once submitted, it can’t be changed, so check the rate one more time here.
Choose between a personal and an entity account first; the account type can’t be changed after sign-up.
Binance is an international exchange. The invitation code, link and rate in the box below come from data synced daily. Sign up with this site’s invitation code and you get a 20% trading fee rebate, the same for futures and spot:
Identity verification (KYC): what you need and how long it takes
You can’t trade right after signing up. Binance’s “How to Complete Identity Verification for a Personal Account?” (updated 5 June 2026) says: “All new users are required to complete [Verified] to access Binance products and service offerings, including cryptocurrency deposits and trades.” Binance’s terms of use require you to be at least 18 (or the age of majority where you live, whichever is higher).
- Where to find it: on the website, “Account” → “Identification”; in the app, “Unverified” in the account center, or “Verify Now” on the homepage.
- ID document: in most regions you can use a passport, ID card or driver’s license. Choose your residence, the document’s issuing country and the document type, then upload the front and back.
- Liveness check: follow the on-screen instructions for face verification. Don’t wear a hat or glasses or use filters, and make sure the lighting is good.
- Confirm your personal information: it must match your ID document, and you can’t change it once confirmed.
- Review time: usually within 48 hours, longer in some cases.
- Proof of address (upgraded verification): required in some regions or for some payment methods. Binance’s “How to Verify My Residential Address on Binance?” says the document generally has to be from the past 6 months (the past 3 months in some countries), and review takes up to 1 to 2 business days.
Common reasons identity verification fails
Binance has not published a full list of rejection reasons. Its “What is Face Verification and How to Complete It Successfully?” lists the reasons face verification fails:
| Type | Reasons Binance lists |
|---|---|
| Environment | Poor lighting; low camera quality |
| Obstruction | Wearing glasses, hats or masks |
| Identity | ID photo and live face look significantly different; attempting to use someone else’s face or ID |
Verification is also rejected if your personal details don’t match your ID document, or if your proof of address has expired or its name or address doesn’t match.
Where you can’t sign up, and where you can’t get the fee rebate
Based on Binance’s “List of Prohibited Countries” (updated 5 January 2026) and “Binance Referral Program - Additional Notes”:
- No service at all: the United States, Canada, the Netherlands, Cuba, North Korea, Iran, Crimea, and the so-called Donetsk and Luhansk People’s Republics. Since 1 December 2023, residents of Japan have been served by Binance Japan instead.
- No new users: the UK (since 16 October 2023).
- Can sign up, but get no rebates: Hong Kong residents; users registered in the European Economic Area (from 1 July 2026). Singapore users, Binance Israel users and retail users in Turkey are also excluded from the referral program.
This site’s invitation code is not for UK or Hong Kong residents. Please follow the laws where you live.
After signing up, check that the fee rebate applies
Binance’s “How to Use the Binance Affiliate Referral Pro Dashboard?” says the “Referral Relationship” on the referral page shows how your account was invited to Binance, “including the referral mode used (Binance Lite or Pro) and the rebate rate linked to your account”.
- Referral Relationship: on the website, go to “Profile” → “Referral”; in the app, “Referral” on the homepage. An account registered with this site’s invitation code should show a rebate rate of 20%.
- Check the right account: the rebate on spot trades is converted to USDC every hour and deposited into your spot account within 6 hours. The rebate on futures trades goes back to your futures account, not your spot account (from my own account records), so look there. Records older than 7 days can only be seen by downloading a statement.
Already signed up without an invitation code?
Binance’s rule: an account that already has an inviter can’t switch. Question 6 of the Referral Pro Mode FAQ says “once the referral relationship has been established, it cannot be changed or removed”, and if you close your account and sign up again with the same identity details, the rebates are canceled as well.
But if your account has never had an inviter, Binance has three official ways to add one, with conditions that depend on your account:
| Way | Which accounts | Main conditions | How |
|---|---|---|---|
| Bind it yourself | New accounts registered within the past 30 days | No deposit or trade yet; parent account; identity details not used on another account in the past 180 days | Enter the invitation code on the binding page |
| Recall of existing users | Registered more than 90 days ago, never had an inviter | No trading or use of any product in the past 90 days | Log in through an affiliate’s new-format invitation link and click “Bind Now”; my invitation link uses the new format |
| Rebind Application | Has trading history but no inviter | Identity verification completed; parent account; trading volume below US$5,000 in the past 90 days | Submit an application on the binding page, then reach US$150,000 in trading volume within 30 days |
Here is this site’s invitation code to enter; click “Copy” and paste it into the binding page:
JASONFINThe detailed steps for each way, the messages the binding page may show and what they mean, and why claims online such as “ask support to switch it” or “close your account, wait 35 days and sign up again” don’t work, are covered in “How to add or change a Binance referral code”. Whether other exchanges let you add a code after sign-up, and for how long, is covered in “Adding a referral code after sign-up”.
If your account already has an inviter and doesn’t meet the conditions above, the only ways left to lower your fees are VIP tiers and paying fees with BNB, covered in the “Binance review”. For how Binance compares with OKX, see “Binance vs OKX”; for how fee rebates work at each exchange, see “What is a crypto exchange fee rebate”.

FAQ
What is the maximum fee rebate with a Binance invitation code?
20%. Binance's "Binance Affiliate Program Starter Guide" (updated 4 November 2026) says affiliates can give invitees up to a 20% rebate on spot, margin and futures fees, at a rate the inviter sets when creating the invitation link. On sites that advertise 40% or 50%, the extra part does not come from Binance.
Are the 40% Binance invitation codes online real?
On 1 November 2026 I checked 26 Binance invitation codes online that claimed more than 20%: 20 showed 20% in Binance's system, 5 had no fee rebate at all and 1 could not be found. None went above 20%. Many 40% figures come from adding the 25% discount for paying fees in BNB to a 20% invitation code, and you get the BNB discount without an invitation code too.
How can I tell whether a Binance invitation code comes with a fee rebate?
Open Binance's official sign-up page, accounts.binance.com/register?ref= followed by the invitation code, and read the text on the left. A code with a rebate shows a rate, such as "UP TO 20% TRADE REBATES"; one without shows only a sign-up reward amount. The address must be binance.com. This is what the page showed on 1 November 2026; Binance has not officially explained this display.
Can I add a Binance invitation code after signing up?
It depends on your account. If you signed up within the past 30 days and haven't deposited or traded, you can add it yourself on Binance's binding page. If you signed up more than 90 days ago, have never had an inviter and haven't traded in 90 days, you can bind it by logging in through an affiliate's new-format invitation link. If you have trading history but no inviter, you can submit a rebind application. If you already have an inviter, Binance says it cannot be changed or removed.
Is the Binance invitation code fee rebate for life?
Binance does not say "lifetime". Under the official rules in Binance's Referral Pro Mode FAQ, spot rebates stop once the invitee reaches VIP 3 or higher, and futures rebates have a 1-year validity period and stop when it expires (except in the cases Binance's rules provide for). Invitees who are Hong Kong residents, or who registered in the European Economic Area, get no rebates either.
How long does Binance identity verification take?
Binance says submitted documents are usually reviewed within 48 hours, and in some cases it may take longer. New users must complete the "Verified" level before they can deposit and trade, which requires a passport, ID card or driver's license, followed by a liveness check.
