Disclosure: this page contains exchange invitation links and codes. If you sign up through them, the exchange may pay Jason Finance a referral commission. It does not raise the fees you pay; the invitation fee rebate is set by the exchange. Our ratings follow the published methodology, where the invitation rebate counts only toward the fees item.
What you pay on WEEX depends on two things: whether you trade spot or futures, and whether your order is a maker or a taker. This article collects the numbers from WEEXâs official fee schedule, VIP guide and announcements, then works out what a 1,000 USDT trade actually costs.
The short version: on 22 October 2026, regular WEEX users (VIP 0) paid 0.1% as maker and as taker on spot and 0.02% maker and 0.08% taker on USDT perpetual futures. On spot, a maker order is no cheaper than a taker order; on futures, the maker rate is a quarter of the taker rate. WXT holdings are one way to qualify for a VIP tier, WEEX says Convert charges no trading fee, and USDT withdrawal fees range from 0.015 to 1.5 USDT. Signing up with this siteâs invitation code gives you a fee rebate of 60% on futures and 35% on spot, so the fee on a 1,000 USDT spot purchase drops from 1 USDT to 0.65 USDT.
This article is an information summary, not investment advice. All rates were taken from WEEXâs official pages on 22 October 2026. Rates and rules change, so check WEEXâs current pages before you trade. I have a WEEX account but have not used it long term; screenshots of my accountâs fee rate and fee details will be added later. This site does not give advice on futures or leveraged trading; futures rates are listed only so readers can compare costs.
WEEX fees: maker and taker rates for regular users
According to WEEXâs official fee schedule (22 October 2026), regular users pay:
| Market | Maker | Taker |
|---|---|---|
| Spot | 0.10% | 0.10% |
| USDT perpetual futures | 0.02% | 0.08% |
Fee = trade value Ă rate
- A maker order does not fill immediately and waits on the order book for someone else to trade against it; a taker order fills immediately against existing orders, such as a market order. WEEXâs trading fee guide states that market, IOC and FOK orders all count as taker orders, and that you can choose âMaker Onlyâ when placing an order to make sure you pay only the maker rate. A limit order can also fill immediately and pay the taker rate; see limit orders are not always maker orders.
- At VIP 0, spot maker and taker rates are the same, so placing a resting order does not change the fee.
- Futures fees are charged when you open, close or reduce a position, based on position value regardless of leverage; orders that never fill, or are cancelled before filling, pay nothing. Funding is paid between longs and shorts and is not a trading fee.
- A few spot pairs have separate 0% arrangements: on 22 October 2026 the fee schedule listed 5 spot pairs at 0% (such as JUP/USDT, NEAR/USDT and UNI/USDT), and every other pair at 0.1%. These arrangements change; the fee schedule is the reference.
For regular-user rates at other international exchanges side by side, see the international exchange fee comparison.
WEEX VIP tiers: requirements and rates
WEEX VIP runs from VIP 0 to VIP 8. For VIP 1 to VIP 7, meeting any one threshold in the table qualifies you, according to the official fee schedule and VIP guide (September 2026):
| Tier | 30-day spot volume | 30-day futures volume | WXT held (1 day) | 5-day average assets |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| VIP 1 | 500,000 USDT | 1,000,000 USDT | 5,000 WXT | 10,000 USDT |
| VIP 2 | 1,000,000 USDT | 5,000,000 USDT | 50,000 WXT | 30,000 USDT |
| VIP 3 | 2,000,000 USDT | 10,000,000 USDT | 250,000 WXT | 50,000 USDT |
| VIP 4 | 5,000,000 USDT | 30,000,000 USDT | 500,000 WXT | 100,000 USDT |
| VIP 5 | 10,000,000 USDT | 50,000,000 USDT | 1,000,000 WXT | 200,000 USDT |
| VIP 6 | 25,000,000 USDT | 100,000,000 USDT | 1,500,000 WXT | 300,000 USDT |
| VIP 7 | 50,000,000 USDT | 300,000,000 USDT | 2,500,000 WXT | 500,000 USDT |
| VIP 8 | 100,000,000 USDT, at least 90,000,000 of it non-API | 500,000,000 USDT, at least 450,000,000 of it non-API | Not applicable | Not applicable |
Rates by tier:
| Tier | Spot maker | Spot taker | Futures maker | Futures taker |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| VIP 0 | 0.100% | 0.100% | 0.020% | 0.080% |
| VIP 1 | 0.080% | 0.090% | 0.020% | 0.075% |
| VIP 2 | 0.070% | 0.080% | 0.018% | 0.060% |
| VIP 3 | 0.050% | 0.060% | 0.018% | 0.055% |
| VIP 4 | 0.040% | 0.050% | 0.016% | 0.050% |
| VIP 5 | 0.030% | 0.040% | 0.016% | 0.048% |
| VIP 6 | 0.020% | 0.030% | 0.014% | 0.045% |
| VIP 7 | 0.010% | 0.020% | 0.012% | 0.042% |
| VIP 8 | 0.0048% | 0.018% | 0.010% | 0.040% |
- VIP 8 requirements changed on 21 September 2026: according to the official notice, WXT holdings and asset balance no longer qualify you for VIP 8. Only trading volume does, and API volume can make up at most 10% of the total. VIP 8 spot rates were changed to 0.0048% maker and 0.018% taker on 18 August 2026 (notice).
- Tiers are recalculated daily at 02:00 (UTC+8). If you stop meeting the requirements, a 14-day protection period keeps your VIP rates in place (VIP benefits notice).
- From 21 October 2026, WXT held in spot and earn accounts counts together; before, only the spot account counted (notice). The WXT thresholds for each tier did not change.
- The rate that actually applies to you is the one shown on the signed-in VIP page and the trading screen.
The lowest volume threshold for VIP 1 is 500,000 USDT of 30-day spot volume. If your volume is below the thresholds, your average assets are under 10,000 USDT and you do not hold 5,000 WXT, you pay VIP 0 rates.
Can WXT reduce WEEX trading fees?
WXT is WEEXâs platform token. Under the official VIP rules, WXT holdings are one way to qualify for VIP 1 to VIP 7: holding 5,000 WXT, for example, puts you in VIP 1 and gives you VIP 1 rates.
I found no official explanation that you can pay fees in WXT for a discount, the way BNB works on Binance. WEEXâs WXT page says holding WXT brings âfree airdrops, 70% off fees and other exclusive benefitsâ, and the same page says âhold WXT for the best ratesâ. It does not say which rate the 70% is measured against, how much WXT you need, or whether it applies to spot or futures. A 2025 article in WEEXâs learning center described a futures fee discount for WXT holders, but that was a limited-time event from November 2024 and cannot be read as a current rule.
If you are thinking of buying WXT to move up a VIP tier, do the maths first: VIP 1 requires holding 5,000 WXT, and the fees you save need to outweigh what you could lose if the WXT price falls. The method is in is a platform token fee discount worth it.
Convert, deposit and USDT withdrawal fees
Convert: no trading fee, the cost sits in the quote
According to an October 2026 article on Convert fees in WEEXâs learning center, the Convert page is labelled â0 feesâ and charges no maker or taker fee, and the screen shows the estimated amount you will receive before you confirm. The cost is built into the quoted exchange rate: on major pairs the quote is usually close to the spot price, the gap can be wider on thinly traded coins, and large conversions may see small price differences during execution.
To compare Convert with spot, divide the USDT you spend by the coins you receive to get Convertâs effective price, then compare it with the spot price plus the 0.1% fee.
Deposits: WEEX charges nothing, but the minimum deposit is stated two ways
WEEX charges no fee for on-chain USDT deposits; the sending platformâs withdrawal fee and network fees are separate. The minimum deposit is stated in two ways:
- The official data used by the deposit page (22 October 2026): 0.1 USDT on every USDT network.
- The official deposit FAQ (updated September 2026): 1 USDT for TRC20 and ERC20, and deposits below 1 USDT will not be credited; it adds that the deposit page is the reference.
Because the two differ, check the minimum shown on the deposit page before you deposit. A screenshot of the deposit page will be added later.
USDT withdrawal fees
USDT figures from the âWithdrawalâ tab of WEEXâs official fee schedule on 22 October 2026:
| Network | Withdrawal fee | Minimum withdrawal |
|---|---|---|
| Plasma | 0.015 USDT | 5 USDT |
| Optimism | 0.015 USDT | 10 USDT |
| BNB Smart Chain (BEP20) | 0.05 USDT | 5 USDT |
| Polygon PoS | 0.1 USDT | 5 USDT |
| Avalanche C-Chain | 0.1 USDT | 10 USDT |
| The Open Network (TON) | 0.1 USDT | 10 USDT |
| Aptos | 0.12 USDT | 5 USDT |
| Arbitrum One | 0.15 USDT | 4 USDT |
| Ethereum (ERC20) | 0.5 USDT | 20 USDT |
| Solana | 0.5 USDT | 10 USDT |
| Tron (TRC20) | 1.5 USDT | 10 USDT |
- Withdrawal fees are fixed amounts that do not depend on how much you withdraw. They change, so the withdrawal page is the reference.
- TON deposits need a memo (tag); without one the deposit may not arrive.
- The receiving side must support the same network; if you pick the wrong one you may not get the funds back. See how to choose a USDT withdrawal network.
- The withdrawal fee examples in WEEXâs official trading fee guide (September 2026), such as 3 USDT for ERC20 and 0.8 USDT for BEP20, differ from the fee schedule. This article uses the fee scheduleâs figures on the day checked.
What a 1,000 USDT trade costs
Take a regular user (VIP 0) trading 1,000 USDT. An invitation code fee rebate lowers the fees you yourself pay; the figures below use the rates for this siteâs WEEX invitation code: 60% on futures and 35% on spot.
Actual rate = official rate Ă (1 â fee rebate)
| Case | Official rate | Fee | Rate after fee rebate | Fee after rebate |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Spot taker (market buy of 1,000 USDT of BTC) | 0.10% | 1 USDT | 0.065% | 0.65 USDT |
| Spot maker (resting limit order filled) | 0.10% | 1 USDT | 0.065% | 0.65 USDT |
| Futures taker (1,000 USDT position value) | 0.08% | 0.8 USDT | 0.032% | 0.32 USDT |
| Futures maker (1,000 USDT position value) | 0.02% | 0.2 USDT | 0.008% | 0.08 USDT |
- At VIP 0, spot maker and taker are both 0.1%, so both come to 0.65 USDT after the rebate.
- Futures fees are charged once to open and once to close, so a round trip costs twice the figure in the table.
- Fees scale with trade value, so the gap grows with volume. On 10,000 USDT of spot trades a month, the official rate costs 10 USDT a month and 6.5 USDT after the rebate.

Start calculatingThe invitation code fee rebate
Signing up for WEEX with an invitation code gives you WEEXâs official fee rebate; the rates are in the invitation box below, and this site syncs the data daily. In WEEXâs official documentation I found no rules on how an inviteeâs fee rebate is applied, when it takes effect, or how it combines with VIP rates; I will confirm this with screenshots from my account later. For other exchangesâ rebate rates and how they are calculated, see what is a crypto exchange fee rebate.
Fees are only part of the picture. WEEX does not disclose its operating entity or licences, and it has received a warning in Ontario, Canada, and cease-and-desist orders from two US states, so read the WEEX review before you sign up.
FAQ
What are WEEX's trading fees?
According to WEEX's official fee schedule (22 October 2026), regular users (VIP 0) pay 0.1% as maker and as taker on spot, and 0.02% maker and 0.08% taker on USDT perpetual futures. A few spot pairs have separate 0% arrangements; the fee schedule is the reference.
How much trading volume or assets do I need for WEEX VIP 1?
Any one of these is enough: 500,000 USDT of 30-day spot volume, 1,000,000 USDT of 30-day futures volume, 5,000 WXT held, or a 10,000 USDT five-day average asset balance. VIP 1 spot rates are 0.08% maker and 0.09% taker.
Can I use WXT to reduce WEEX trading fees?
Under the official VIP rules, WXT holdings are one way to qualify for VIP 1 to VIP 7, which come with lower VIP rates. I found no official explanation that you can pay fees in WXT for a discount the way BNB works, and the WXT page's '70% off fees' claim does not explain how it is calculated.
Does WEEX Convert charge a fee?
An October 2026 article from WEEX's own learning center says Convert charges no trading fee and the cost is built into the quoted exchange rate. The screen shows the estimated amount you will receive before you confirm.
Which network is cheapest for withdrawing USDT from WEEX?
On WEEX's official fee schedule on 22 October 2026, Plasma and Optimism cost 0.015 USDT, BNB Smart Chain (BEP20) 0.05 USDT and Tron (TRC20) 1.5 USDT. The receiving side must support the same network.
How much can I save by signing up for WEEX with an invitation code?
This site's WEEX invitation code comes with a fee rebate of 60% on futures and 35% on spot, which lowers the fees you yourself pay. For a 1,000 USDT spot trade at the 0.1% taker rate, the fee drops from 1 USDT to 0.65 USDT.
