MEXC Referral Code 2026: Fee Rebate Capped at 20%, So Where Do 40%, 50% and 70% Come From? 43 Codes Checked, How to Verify One Yourself, and Adding One Within 30 Days
Disclosure: this page contains exchange invitation links and codes. If you sign up through them, the exchange may pay Jason Finance a referral commission. It does not raise the fees you pay; the invitation fee rebate is set by the exchange. Our ratings follow the published methodology, where the invitation rebate counts only toward the fees item.

The short answer
MEXC caps a referral code's fee share at 20%, set by the inviter for spot and futures separately and credited the day after you trade. Of 10 codes online claiming 40%, 50% or 70%, checked on 4 November 2026, none topped 20%; of all 43, 15 were 0% or invalid. This site's code gives 20% on spot and futures. Before signing up, open MEXC's sign-up link and check the "Commission sharing" line.
Suits
- People who haven't signed up for MEXC yet and want to check an invitation code's rate first
- People who have seen 40%, 50% or 70% MEXC invitation codes and aren't sure whether to trust them
- People who have just signed up for MEXC and want to add an invitation code within 30 days
Doesn't suit
- People living in MEXC's prohibited jurisdictions, such as the US, the UK, Canada, Hong Kong, Singapore, Malaysia, mainland China, Russia, Belarus, France and the Netherlands
- People who only trade with maker orders: the maker fee for regular users is 0%, so there is no share
What would change this verdict
- MEXC changes its fee share cap or strategy rules
- MEXC redesigns its sign-up page and no longer shows the fee share rate
- The fee rebate rate on this site's invitation code changes (the invitation box is synced daily)
MEXC’s sign-up page shows an invitation code’s “commission sharing” rate (MEXC calls invitation codes referral codes). That number comes from MEXC’s system, and MEXC caps it at 20%: the inviter sets the rate, separately for spot and futures. So for headlines like “MEXC referral code 50%” or “70% OFF”, the part above 20% does not come from MEXC.
On 4 November 2026 I searched for terms such as “MEXC 邀請碼” (MEXC invitation code) and “MEXC referral code”, and entered the 43 invitation codes from about 40 pages into MEXC’s official sign-up page, one by one. Of the 10 advertised at more than 20%, none exceeded 20%; of all 43, 15 were 0% or invalid. This article starts with how to read the real rate on the sign-up page, then covers what my check found, how the share is calculated, the sign-up steps and the 30-day rule for adding a code later.
This article is a summary of information, not investment advice. The rules come from MEXC’s announcements, help center and User Agreement, and the check results are what MEXC’s official sign-up page showed on 4 November 2026. MEXC changes its rules and pages, so go by the page as it is when you sign up. This site does not name other websites, and does not give advice on futures or leveraged trading.
The sign-up page has one line that matters: “Commission sharing”
MEXC’s sign-up page has plenty of text about invitation codes, but only one line is the rate shown by MEXC’s system. Before you sign up, look at these three things:
A 0% code and an invalid code look the same
In your browser, enter https://www.mexc.com/acquisition/custom-sign-up?shareCode= followed by the invitation code. For example, my invitation link opens MEXC’s official page in Traditional Chinese, showing “手續費分成比例:現貨 20.00% / 合約 20.00%”; on the English page the same line reads “Commission sharing: Spot 20.00% / Futures 20.00%”. First make sure the domain is mexc.com, then look under “Referral Code (Optional)”:
- If it says “Commission sharing: Spot X% / Futures Y%”: X and Y are this code’s rates. If only one market is listed (for example, futures 10.00% only), the other is 0%.
- If nothing appears under the field: the code has no share (0%), or it is not a valid code at all. This address shows no error for an invalid code.
To check whether a code exists, open the regular sign-up page mexc.com/register and type it in yourself: a valid code shows the same rate line, and an invalid one shows “Invitation code doesn’t exist”. MEXC codes are case-sensitive, so a code typed with the wrong capitalization also shows “Invitation code doesn’t exist”. This is how the page looked when I checked on 4 November 2026. MEXC has not officially explained it, and it may differ by region or after a redesign.
The card at the top left is written by the inviter
The card at the top left of MEXC’s sign-up page (a nickname and a one-line headline) is set by the inviter, and it stays untranslated when you switch to the English or Simplified Chinese page. Only the “Commission sharing” line is the rate shown by MEXC’s system; 30%, 50% or “permanent” written on the card doesn’t count. Text such as “10,000 USDT welcome gift for signing up” appears for 0% codes too, and has nothing to do with the rate.
Before submitting, look carefully at the code field
In my testing I found that when I opened several different MEXC invitation links in a row from the same network, a link opened later was sometimes redirected to a code I had opened earlier. Before submitting, make sure the “Referral Code (Optional)” field holds the code you want to use, and that the rate under it is right. If it isn’t, open the link again in a different browser or after clearing your browsing data.
43 MEXC invitation codes found online: half of those advertised above 20% were 0% or invalid
On 4 November 2026 I searched for terms such as “MEXC 邀請碼” (MEXC invitation code), “MEXC 推薦碼” (MEXC referral code), “MEXC 返佣” and “MEXC referral code”, collected about 40 pages (in Traditional Chinese, Simplified Chinese and English), entered each of the 43 codes into MEXC’s official sign-up page, and noted the “Commission sharing” rate:
| What the page claimed | Codes | What MEXC’s sign-up page actually showed |
|---|---|---|
| More than 20% (40%, 50%, 70%, “200%”) | 10 | 20%: 3; 10%: 2; 0%: 4; invalid: 1 |
| 20% (10 of them “permanent” or “lifetime”) | 19 | 20%: 16; 10%: 2; 0%: 1 |
| 10% | 7 | 20%: 1; 10%: 3; futures 10% only: 1; 0%: 2 |
| A separate tiered payout (from 15%, up to 35%) | 1 | 0% |
| No rate, only a sign-up bonus | 6 | All 0% |
A few patterns:
- None exceeded 20%, in line with the official cap. Of the 10 advertised at more than 20%, half were 0% or invalid on MEXC’s page.
- “50%” and “70%” mostly come from adding other numbers in: for example, the fee discount for holding MX, or the referrer’s own rate, presented as the invitee’s discount.
- Most codes advertised at 20% were genuine: 16 of 19 showed 20%. The modest claims were the accurate ones.
- One inviter can have several codes, each with a different rate: I found two codes from the same account, one at 20% and one at 10%. What you need to check is the one you are about to enter.
- No page included verifiable proof, and several pages called MEXC’s “commission sharing” rate a “fee discount”.
My view: MEXC’s cap is 20%, and codes advertised at 20% are mostly trustworthy. For codes advertised above 20%, the extra does not come from MEXC, and half of them are 0% or invalid. The method in the previous section lets you check before you sign up.

How the share works: taker trades only, credited the next morning
MEXC’s “MEXC Affiliate Portal Usage Guide” (25 May 2026) says: “The system supports customizable commission sharing rates for both Spot and Futures, with a maximum of 20%.” The announcement “MEXC Affiliate System’s Customizable Commission Sharing Feature is Now Live” also says: “You can set up to 20%, with support for up to two decimal places.”
A few official rules to know first:
| Rule | MEXC’s wording |
|---|---|
| The inviter sets the rate, separately for spot and futures | “The spot and futures commission sharing rates represent the portion of the user’s contributed spot and futures trading fees, respectively.” |
| Each rate has a validity period | “The start and end times represent the validity period of the strategy, and the time is based on the UTC+8 time zone.” |
| Your rate doesn’t change after you sign up | “the commission share for already registered users will remain unchanged. New users will be calculated based on the new commission sharing percentage.” |
| Signing up after the validity period ends | “once the strategy expires, users who sign up via the referral link or code will automatically be linked to the default referral code and will no longer enjoy the special commission sharing rate.” |
| When it is credited | “the referral’s share is distributed before 1:00 (UTC)” |
In other words, the share is not a lower fee at the moment you trade; it is credited the day after you trade, before 1:00 UTC (9:00 a.m. UTC+8), and the amount is the fee you actually paid times the rate. (“The referral” in MEXC’s wording is the invited user.) MEXC’s maker fee for regular users (VIP 0) is 0%, so maker fills carry no fee and therefore no share; the share only applies to taker trades. If you have already signed up, a later change to the rate by the inviter doesn’t affect you; if you sign up after the validity period ends, you don’t get the original rate.
This site’s invitation code gives 20% on both spot and futures, and MEXC’s data shows it valid until 31 December 2099. The rate comes from the daily-synced data in the invitation box below.
How much it saves, based on MEXC’s regular user (VIP 0) fees: spot BTC and ETH 0% maker and 0.05% taker, futures 0% maker and 0.01% taker (MEXC’s public data, 4 November 2026; the fee page says rates may be adjusted for platform events or by region).
| Case (taker) | Fee | 20% share the next day | What you pay |
|---|---|---|---|
| A 1,000 USDT spot trade | 0.5 USDT | 0.1 USDT | 0.4 USDT |
| A 10,000 USDT futures trade (contract value) | 1 USDT | 0.2 USDT | 0.8 USDT |
| 10,000 USDT of spot a month, for a year | 60 USDT | 12 USDT | 48 USDT |
MEXC’s own fees are already low, and maker orders are 0%, so an invitation code saves less here than at other exchanges.
Signing up for MEXC with an invitation code: steps
- Open the sign-up page from the invitation link, and check the “Commission sharing” rate (see “A 0% code and an invalid code look the same” above).
- Enter your email or phone number and set a password. “Referral Code (Optional)” is already filled in; make sure it is the code you want to use (see “Before submitting, look carefully at the code field”).
- Complete verification as shown on screen.
- Complete identity verification (KYC): some Rewards Hub tasks require Advanced KYC Verification.
The 10,000 USDT new-user bonus
MEXC’s announcement “The Industry’s Best Welcome: Up to 10,000 USDT!” (19 August 2025) raised the cap on new-user rewards from 8,000 USDT to 10,000 USDT. The conditions (from the announcement and the Rewards Hub rules):
- Some tasks require Advanced KYC Verification before you can claim the reward.
- Only on-chain deposits and P2P trading count as deposits; internal transfers don’t.
- Futures trading volume counts only trades with fees greater than 0, and stablecoin futures (such as USDCUSDT) don’t count.
- You must visit the Rewards Hub page before completing a task for your entry to count, and you can take part in only one new-user event at a time.
- All rewards go through a risk review, expected to be completed within 7 calendar days; futures bonuses can be used only for futures trading and have an expiry date.
- Under local law, users in regions where derivatives trading is prohibited may not be able to claim futures-related rewards.
The amount for each task is visible only after you log in, and it may differ by region. 10,000 USDT is the cap for all tasks combined, and pages for 0% codes show the same number, so it can’t be used to compare codes.
Where you can’t sign up
The prohibited jurisdictions in MEXC’s “User Agreement” (last updated 13 October 2026) are North Korea, Cuba, Sudan, Iran, mainland China, Singapore, Malaysia, the United States, the United Kingdom, Hong Kong, Kazakhstan, Russia, the Russian-controlled regions of Ukraine (Crimea, Donetsk, Luhansk, Zaporizhzhia, Kherson and Sevastopol), Belarus, Canada, France (including its outermost regions) and the Netherlands.
Already signed up without an invitation code: add one yourself within 30 days
MEXC’s “Self-Service Referrer Linking Guide” (15 April 2026) says you can link one yourself within 30 days of signing up:
- “Only accounts that signed up within the past 30 days are eligible to link a referrer.”
- “Only main accounts can link a referrer; sub-accounts are not supported.”
- “only referrals where the referrer signed up before the referee are supported”; an account that shares the same identity information as the referrer can’t establish the referral relationship either.
- “This cannot be changed later. Please proceed carefully.”
- If the system says “Your account does not support self-service referrer linking. Please contact Customer Service for assistance.”, contact Customer Service.
You can enter either a referral code or the referrer’s UID. If you are eligible, paste this site’s invitation code on the self-service linking page:
mexc-JASONFINMEXC’s “MEXC Affiliate FAQ” also says that “Once an invitation code has been linked, it cannot be changed or removed.” Claims online that you “can only add one within 3 days” or that you “can’t add one at all after signing up and have to register again with a new email” don’t match MEXC’s official rules. MEXC doesn’t say whether a code linked later gets the code’s original fee share rate. Whether other exchanges let you add a code after sign-up, and for how long, is covered in “Adding a referral code after sign-up”.
MEXC’s fees, proof of reserves and regulatory record are covered in the “MEXC review”; for comparisons with other exchanges, see “Gate vs MEXC” and “KuCoin vs MEXC”.
MEXC is an international exchange. With this site’s invitation code, MEXC’s sign-up page shows a “commission sharing” rate of 20% on both spot and futures, which means a 20% trading fee rebate. The rate in the box below updates automatically every day:
This site’s invitation code is not for UK or Hong Kong residents. Please follow the laws where you live. How fee rebates work at each exchange is in “Crypto exchange fee rebates”.
FAQ
What is the maximum fee rebate from a MEXC referral code?
20%. MEXC's "MEXC Affiliate Portal Usage Guide" (25 May 2026) says: "The system supports customizable commission sharing rates for both Spot and Futures, with a maximum of 20%." The inviter sets the rate, separately for spot and futures. For codes advertised online at 40%, 50% or 70%, the part above 20% does not come from MEXC.
Are the 50% and 70% MEXC referral codes online real?
On 4 November 2026 I checked 10 MEXC invitation codes advertised at more than 20%, and on MEXC's sign-up page none of them exceeded 20%: 4 were 0%, 1 was invalid, 2 were 10% and 3 were 20%.
How can I tell what fee share a MEXC referral code gives?
Open mexc.com/acquisition/custom-sign-up?shareCode= followed by the code, and look under "Referral Code (Optional)": a code with a share shows "Commission sharing: Spot X% / Futures Y%", and if that line is missing, it is 0%. This address shows no error for an invalid code either. To check that a code exists, type it yourself on the regular sign-up page: an invalid one shows "Invitation code doesn't exist".
When is MEXC's fee share credited?
The day after you trade. The FAQ in MEXC's "MEXC Affiliate System's Customizable Commission Sharing Feature is Now Live" says "the referral's share is distributed before 1:00 (UTC)" each day (the referral is the invited user). MEXC's maker fee for regular users is 0%, so maker fills carry no fee and therefore no share.
Can I add a MEXC referral code after signing up?
Yes, within 30 days of signing up. MEXC's "Self-Service Referrer Linking Guide" says only main accounts that signed up within the past 30 days can link a referrer themselves, and once linked, "This cannot be changed later." If the system says your account isn't supported, you can contact Customer Service.
